A 12-week intensive research residency for PhD students tackling fundamental challenges at the convergence of ML systems, edge computing, and human-computer interaction.

Tanggung Jawab Utama

Drive a tightly scoped, ambitious research project in collaboration with a dedicated senior research scientist

Develop novel architectures or algorithms with a clear path to publication at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, OSDI)

Participate actively in weekly laboratory reading groups, internal seminars, and design reviews

Deploy and evaluate experimental prototypes across Fantasma Synergy's physical edge cluster testbed

Deliver a comprehensive final symposium presentation and technical paper preprint to the full engineering and research organization

Kualifikasi Wajib (Must-Have)

  • Currently enrolled in a PhD program (2nd year or beyond strongly preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in PyTorch, JAX, or systems programming (C++/Rust)
  • Demonstrated ability to independently conduct empirical machine learning research

Nilai Tambah (Nice-to-Have)

  • + First-author paper accepted at a leading venue (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, OSDI, PLDI)
  • + Experience with hardware benchmarking and memory bandwidth profiling
